Don't you think of Chicken when you hear the word "Marsala" ???  I do!

But this post is about Pantone's color of the year, which is Marsala - not of the chicken variety.

According to Pantone; Marsala is a naturally robust and earthy wine red, Marsala enriches our minds, bodies and souls.

Sounds beautiful, and still yummy! I find the color inspiring and bold yet still grounded at the same time - I hope a bride decides to  go in this direction because I really think it could be impactful and memorable - and photograph nicely too!

Some Ideas/inspiration for you to look over:

Love this"gathered" look! The Marsala just pops against the white and really makes a statement!

This is gorgeous and has a vintage flare - Marsala blends a little bit more when you ad in the dusty pinks and peaches.

I really believe that the invite sets the stage for your event - and these bold invitations tell your guests to get prepared for the wow!

I didn't know that peonies came in this color - but how fabulous is that bouquet!

If you want to do a lighter flower option you can opt for a darker bride's maids dress.
