Bradford Bride: Simple Summer Wedding

Although Summer is no longer, we could not pass up on spotlighting this simply beautiful wedding! Haley and Erik, through their simplicity in design, really caught our attention and brought out the natural beauties of The Bradford. The variety of natural looking hydrangeas and stock flowers really added a pop of style and refinement to the atmosphere of the event & we cannot forget to mention the lovely wedding cake adorned with beautiful pink garden roses!

In addition to the charming design, we loved the photos of Haley and her lovely bridesmaids! Being a bed & breakfast, we at The Bradford provide delicious options to those brides and bridal parties who take advantage of the overnight stay and included breakfast! This picture of the bride and her maids in their pj's perfectly sums up just how relaxing and fun staying overnight at The Bradford can be!

We also loved how Haley & Erik chose to do first-look photos! The "first look" is a trend in weddings that we are seeing more and more. So, this is a special moment in which the groom is able to see his lovely bride for the first time before ceremony. We love this wonderful and precious moment between couples, and these points in time add another memorable moment to your wedding day!

The first dance between the two was a wonderful and perfect time for Haley and Erik to soak-up their magical day and express their love as a newly married couple! We always love seeing the sentimental and emotional moments between the bride & groom on their special day. And...we cannot forget to highlight on the glowing moment of a sparkler send-off!

Bradford Bride: Naturally Vintage With a Hint of Romance

This wedding was one of our favorites here at The Bradford! Courtney and Noah were a pleasure to work with, and their sweet personalities certainly came out through their wedding! The design of the event paired perfectly with the atmosphere of The Bradford as the simplicity of floral arrangements and the neutral color scheme meshed well with the wooded surroundings. The choices of bridesmaid dresses and florals incorporating pops of light pink and blush really added a sense of natural beauty to the ambiance of the event. & we cannot forget to mention that cake, which added to the naturally vintage look of the event--a remarkably beautiful and equally delicious treat!

As the sweet ceremony ended, it was time for the party to start! Unlike many brides we have here at The Bradford, Courtney and Noah opted for a live band as the night's entertainment! We loved seeing how that unique touch was enjoyed by not only the bride & groom, but the guests as well! All-in-all, this wedding was naturally gorgeous and we were really able to feel the love and romance this sweet couple shares for one another!

Bradford Bride: A Bundle of Summer Weddings!

Summer Time is a Sweet Time for a Bradford Wedding...

& We Have a Bundle of Brides to Show Off !

To kick-off, we want to share with you Bethany's bright and colorful wedding! Her choice of floral arrangements really shouted "It's Summer Time!"--and the pops of pinks, yellows, and oranges blended well with her elegant wedding dress and beautiful bridesmaid dresses. With outdoor seating for both ceremony and reception, guests really got the chance to immerse themselves in the lovely Summer weather and natural atmosphere of The Bradford!

Jenny's wedding was the perfect touch of simple and elegant! With beautiful shades of light blue, this got us thinking about the cool winds and waters of Summer time. The simplicity of floral arrangements and centerpieces gave just the right amount of color and taste of that sweet Summer time feel. We absolutely adored the photos of Jenny & Lance in the wooded area behind The Bradford. With the perfect line of trees and shining rays of sun, these shots were truly to-die-for!

Janet's Summer wedding was one for the books! The choices for ceremony decor really played into the beautiful scenery of The Bradford and offered guests a gorgeous view of the natural sights. In addition, her gorgeous (and delicious!) wedding cake reminded us of trips to the strawberry fields in the heat of Summer! This wedding was also unique in that the bride had two distinct, yet equally gorgeous looks. One, a traditional wedding gown & two, a beautifully detailed kimono-influenced dress. We always love to see couples make a notable, yet simple exit--and for Janet and Alex, the sparkler send off was their way of ending the night in lights!

Bradford Bride: Succulents, Food Trucks & Sweet Summer Time

This July wedding was certainly one for the books! Rebekah, being a part of the team here at The Bradford, really knew how to utilize the space all while adding her own unique touch. While also having a part time job at Anthropologie, Rebekah really took advantage of the decor she could get from them. The mercury glasses and hand-crafted floral backdrop really added a colorful and rustic taste of Summer for her guests. In addition to the Anthropologie decor, Rebekah also visited the local Farmer's Market & found very cute (and cheap!) succulents to use not only for decor, but also for her seating chart and guest favors--making for a great three-in-one purchase!

The wedding itself took place on a Saturday in July! But what a lot of guests did not see was the behind the scenes work both Rebekah and her family put into making the decor come to life the night before. From steaming the linens, arranging the floral centerpieces, hanging the Anthropologie backdrop, and placing all the truly was a bonding experience for the entire family!

Another feature of Rebekah and Thomas's Wedding that we loved was the laid-back and casual nature of the entire event. For many Bradford Brides, having a single caterer is often the norm. But for Rebekah and Thomas, they were enthralled by the idea of having some of their favorite food trucks come out. With very different styles of food available, guests had the option to try just one or all three of the trucks! In addition to food trucks, the couple also offered a cool and creamy treat to their guests--& Mama Birds Ice Cream was superb!

As dinner wound down, the party turned up! Kicking off with a synchronized rap from her four sisters (all bridesmaids in her wedding!), guests really got a taste of the goofy and casual nature of the wedding. DJ Jade really got the party going with his bumpin' tunes--& guests filled the dance floor! In light of the upcoming 4th of July holiday, the couple was sent off with a bright and fun sparkler lighting! All-in-all, we loved seeing Rebekah's vision come to life through this unique and special wedding!
