Let's face it, weddings are a lot of work. They are a lot of work for the bride, the groom, for their family and friends and especially for all of the vendors. It takes blood, sweat and (sometimes) tears to pull a wedding off.
I think this is the most valuable part of hiring our team- we will work our butts off to make your big day a success. We will be the first to arrive and the last to leave. There are no limits to our hours. Before I started working weddings, I had an idea in my head of what a wedding planner's job was like and in reality it is a lot different. We don't just tell other people what to do, we actually get our hands dirty in the details. We get physically involved in the design of our weddings by moving large wine barrels, moving tables and chairs, flipping spaces from a ceremony to a reception, moving furniture, standing on our tiptoes on chairs to reach high decorations, busing tables when needed, and anything else in between. It doesn't matter to us if it is a hot 100 degree summer day or the middle of winter, we will dress accordingly and get to work.
Putting in an honest day of hard work is one of the most rewarding parts of this job. There is nothing better than getting home from a wedding and taking a hot bath with a glass of wine, what a great way to wind down!
And the best part is we will do all of this with a smile on our face :) We are happy to put in the hard work to make our client's day a success!
